From my work as an appraiser, I realised that there was an opportunity to help people who were not getting help from within their organisations. When help was needed, it was not forthcoming, and the role of an independent opinion and mentor could help the perspective.

Its important to realise that you are not alone, but corporations treat individuals as they would paper clips: useful when needed to hold something together, but disposable assets. 

It is easy to feel anger, guilt, worthlessness and fear even when you are basically a good employee, but who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
